Event
Jay and Tim at UKREiiF 2025

Edited on 27 May 2025

Directors Tim Bell and Jay Morton returned from a packed few days at UKREiiF in Leeds, filled with energising conversations across property, politics, and design. Key highlights included celebrating our Smithfield success on the West Midlands stand, a flash mob with the AA4AH and Jay’s panel with Just Build Homes, '6,000 reasons to build: what supporters really think'.

Ahead of UKREiiF, Jay talked to Wyn Evans and Millie Dodd in the latest episode of the Architects for Change podcast. They discussed a few of the 6,000 compelling reasons to build submitted in their research and uncovered several key barriers to unlocking this support. Together, they offer practical ways in which the industry can reclaim the narrative and ultimately build more homes.

“Providing housing is a public good. We need to change the narrative around our industry so we are seen as part of the solution in delivering that public good.”

- Wyn Evans, Just Build Homes
